Banaras Hindu University (BHU) Admission Process/Criteria

If the candidates want to admission in any of the graduate or post graduate program in the Banaras Hindu University then you have pass Under Graduate and Post Graduate Entrance Tests (UET/PET).

The Banaras Hindu University use to notify for the sale of application forms and bulletin of related information for admission to various Under Graduate & Post Graduate courses and also for the Special Courses of Study like Diploma & Certificate courses.

The candidates who are qualified in the tests are qualified for applying to the courses. You can obtain the Information Bulletin and the Application form from the Entrance Test Cell, Office of the Controller of examination, BHU, VARANASI-221005. The rate of the application on cash payment of Rupees 50/- (Fifty) only is there.

You can also get by registered post by sending a written request agreement mentioning the name of your preferred course that is Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Special Courses of Study (Diploma and Certificate) along with a bank cheque or  the demand draft of 100 rupees with the self addressed envelope  which is unstamped.

Test fee is to be charged as mentioned in the bulletin. The candidates out of India are exempted from giving the entrance test in Banaras Hindu University. The forms which is incomplete or which is receive before the last date of submission that form will not be accepted by the university.

The candidate must have passed the high school that is 10 + 2 year for getting admission in under graduate program and the candidate must have pass the graduation course for admission in post graduate program. The 50 % mark is necessary for getting admission in the Banaras Hindu University. But 40 % is necessary for the OBC/SC/ST candidates.
