Best Nanotechnology Colleges in India

Top Nanotechnology Colleges in India

Nanotechnology is the branch of science which deals with the study of behavior of elements at very depth level i.e. at atomic or molecular level. This study had attracted many in recent times. As this is the development of miniature science in future one can expect many wide range of technology.

The Colleges of Nanotechnology basically deals in study of regenerative medicine, nanobiosensors, nanocomposites, nanotubes etc. In simple words nanotechnology is a combination of all sorts of engineering and technology subjects let it be something like physics, chemistry biology etc. After finishing the course students can go into industries of Space Research, Bio-technology, Agriculture, Genetics, Forensic Science, Environment, and Medicine.

List of some of the best nanotechnology colleges in India are:
•    IITs at Mumbai, Kanpur, Chennai, Guwahati and Delhi
•    Amity Institute of Nanotechnology (AINT), Noida
•    Biosys Biotech Lab & Research Centre, Chennai
•    Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore
•    National Institute of Technology(NIT), Rourkela
•    National Institute of Technology (NIT), Kurukshetra (Haryana)
•    Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal
•    Amritha Centre for Nanosciences (ACNS), Kochi
•    Jawaharlal Nehru Center for Advanced Scientific Research, Bangalore
•    Centre for Nanotechnology & Advanced Biomaterials (CeNTAB), Sastra University, Tamilnadu

Nanotechnology in India is just at a starting level and it needs the interest and contribution from the students and other people for the development in further stage.

This field has shown some extraordinary development in past few years. The scale of measurement in this field is unimaginable for someone i.e. in billionths of a meter. For this study one requires a very good knowledge in Science i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Nanotechnology is a post-graduate course. The minimum qualification for some is a B.Tech degree in any one of the following subject - Material science, Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemical, Biotechnology, Electronics and Computer Science.

It is a very interesting subject for the students who likes to know the things in depth.
