IGNOU Introduction

IGNOU which is more commonly known as Indira Gandhi National Open University was launched in the mid eighties. Till then, it has come up with simple yet quality education scopes for open category students. Along with other main stream courses, IGNOU is also providing degree courses in other professional and technical fields as well, including the Bachelor’s of Computer Application (BCA). 

BCA at IGNOU

BCA is one of the well popular courses provided by IGNOU, both in terms of quality and number of candidates taking admission every year. It is basically a 3 year bachelor’s program, open to any higher secondary passed candidate. It is always preferred by IGNOU that candidates with mathematics in combination in their higher secondary apply for BCA course. 

Course structure, Evaluation and Subjects taught

The course structure is pretty straight forward, pertaining to the normal educational standards in the different Indian universities.
