DELHI TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY B. Tech. ADMISSION

ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY:

The university name Delhi Technological University (DTU) is one of oldest university of India. The government of India had all rights on this university from 1941. And after 1963 it comes under it comes under National Capital Territory of Delhi which is now known as Delhi University.

Delhi Technological University i.e. DTU is going to start the admission process for B.Tech. for this academic year. We have following main courses.

• B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication engineering - 120 seats.

• B.Tech. in Computer engineering - 90 seats.

• B.Tech. in Electrical engineering - 90 seats.

• B.Tech. in Mechanical engineering - 90 seats.

• B.Tech. in Civil engineering - 90 seats.

ELIGIBILITY:

A prospect student should have passed Senior School Certificate Examination of C.B.S.E. or Indian School Certificate Examination of council for I.S.C.E. and securing 60% marks or more than that in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Or the prospect student should have passed State Diploma Examination of three years. Minimum aggregate 55% marks are required for open student and for 45% marks for SC/ST students. 

At the time of admission the age of the applicant is should be between 17 years to 25 years.

CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION:

The selection of students is based on the Entrance Examination and base on merit. Particular student’s awards in sports, cultures are also consider while admission. 85% of seats are reserved for the Delhi region Student and remaining for outside Delhi region.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:

While coming for admission prospect student should be come with following documents.

1. Class XII mark sheet.

2. Leaving Certificate of respective institute. 

3. Birth Certificate.

4. Domicile Certificate.

5. Other Certificate (if required).

Students are required to come with original as well as attested photo copies.
