SESSION : 

MTech

Eligibility:
(i) Master's degree in Statistics or Master's degree in Mathematics with Probability and Statistics as major subjects or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or equivalent or PG diploma in SQC & OR from the Indian Statistical Institute and (ii) Knowledge of Mathematics at graduate level and knowledge of Physics and Chemistry at Higher Secondary level. Stipend Rs. 5000/- per month.

A candidate who was asked to discontinue any of the above programmes is not eligible for readmission to the same programme.

Selection of candidates is based on academic record, written tests and interviews conducted by the Institute. Likely to be revised. Due consideration is given to SC/ST/OBC/Physically Challenged candidates for all programmes from 1 to 8 above (i.e., excluding Junior Research Fellowship programme).

Distribution of Prospectus and Application Form: 09th February 2011 to 07th March 2011
Last date for receiving completed Application Form: 28th March 2011
Date of Selection Test (India and abroad): 08th May 2011

Vijayaditya, former Director General, National Informatics Centre and Controller of Certifying Authorities, Government of India, took a Masters degree in Statistics from Indian Statistical Institute.
