JNU Merit-cum-Means Scholarships
Jawaharlal Nehru University was formed by the act of Indian parliament in 1969. The university was founded by Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi after the death of Jawaharlal Nehru. JNU is located in southern part of New Delhi, India. Jawaharlal Nehru University has a Different picturesque view inside the campus which makes a scenic view. In several location of university have various birds and animals which make the campus an urban sanctuary. They provide free coaching facility to the student. The university campus covers 1000 acres area. JNU provide different financial aid programs like Merit cum means scholarship. This scholarship is given to those students whose parent monthly income is does not go beyond 2.50lakh per annum. The main objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the poor and meritorious student belonging to the minority communities. This scholarship is given by the state government of India.

Eligibility for JNU merit cum means scholarship:
Candidate should complete 10+2, graduation professional or technical with 50% marks family income is not above 2.50 lakh per annum. Student who gets admission to a college on the basis of competitive examination will be eligible for the scholarship. Selection of student is done on the merit basis. Continuation of scholarship is given if the student is complete the course during the preceding year.

General information:
This scholarship is given by the state government of India. The JNU merit cum means scholarship is given to twenty thousand students throughout the India country and distribution of scholarship is done by state wise population. Scholarship is reserved for girl’s 30 % each minority. Join one copy of passport size photograph with signature of the student, one attested copy of certification, diploma, degree etc.
