University was founded in holy city of Varanasi; in 1915 the university is made by under the act of parliamentary legislation. The main objective of University is to promote the study of the Hindu shastras and Sanskrit literature. University has the affrication of UGC, i.e. University Grant Commission. The campus is built on the land which is donated by the Kashi Naresh. University has the campus areas of around 1350 acres. Most of the programmes of the University are reside programmes. Eligibility Criteria:
For the admission in the B. Sc programme, candidate must have to pass the higher secondary examination or 12th examination from the any state board in India. The admissions are carried out through the centralize entrance examination.
Admission Procedure:
All the admissions for the B. Sc. programme are carried out with the help of entrance examination. The entrance examination is conducted on national level. Examination is carried out in the main cities of India like Varanasi, Kolkata, Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai etc. This entrance examination is conducted for the various faculties.
