Eligibility:
Any graduate of a recognized University having Statistics as one of the subjects, studied for at least  two years, with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST) in aggregate is eligible for the MSc Statistics(Actuarial). 

The admission to these programs is based on the results of an entrance examination to be conducted at various centres in India. 15% weight age will be given for the performances of the students at senior secondary level and 85% weight age is for the performance at the entrance examination.

How To Apply:
1.      If you are not very conversant with Internet, download this sample form for practice and sample filling.
2.      Download sample application form from the link Download Sample Form.
3.      You should also go through the other information available on the website.
4.      Only Online Applications will be accepted. Sample form will not be accepted in any case.
5.      After practicing on the sample application form, get ready with the Demand Draft and soft copy of your photo (on pen drive or should be stored on the computer to be used for applying online). Note: The Demand Draft of Rs.300/- (Rs. 150/- for SC/ST/PH) for one course and Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/PH) for both the courses in favour of *Central University of Rajasthan* payable at Jaipur
6.      Open the http://curaj.epostindia.net.
7.      Start filling the Application Online.
8.      Fill all the fields in the Online Application Form. Check that the Mandatory fields marked * are filled.
9.      After completing, press the button “Submit Form.” If the form is filled completely, the printout of the form will be displayed on the screen. If some mandatory fields are not filled then the printout will not be displayed. Your cursor will go to the field which is left blank. Message box in red will show the discrepancy. Complete all and again press “Submit Form.” If the form is filled completely now, the printout of the form will be displayed on the screen. Take its two printouts. One is for your record and the other is to be signed and sent to: Central University of Rajasthan, Post Box No. 6, Shastri Nagar Head Post Office, Jaipur – 302016 by Speed Post only. The receiving post office at Shastri Nagar will receive the applications sent by speed post. However, if you face any difficulty in posting the application by speed post at your post office, you may send it by ordinary post under Certificate of Posting (U.P.C.).  Don’t forget to attach the Demand Draft and necessary photocopies with it failing which the form will be reject.
10.  In case you are unable to upload your photograph along with the online application form, you will need four similar printouts of your photo. One should be pasted on the printout of the form before posting it. Two will be pasted on the admit cards. And last one will be pasted on the Attendance sheet. All photos should be identical. The photos pasted on the Printout and Admit cards should be attested by a Gazetted Officer.
11.  After the last date of application i.e. 14-7-09, visit the same website again for downloading the “Admit Card”. You will be able to appear at the Entrance Exam with this admit card only.
12.  Documents to be enclosed along with the printout
Ø       Demand Draft.
Ø       Photocopy of certificate in support of Date of Birth and Place of Birth like Class XIIth passing or School Leaving Certificate.
Ø       Photocopies of mark sheets of XIIth Standard onward up to Graduate Level
Ø        Certificate / Degree of XIIth and Graduate Level.

Central University of Rajasthan is an educational institution in Rajasthan, India.It has been established through an Act of Parliament: “The Central Universities Act, 2009" by Govt. of India.
The Central University of Rajasthan has been established by an Act of Parliament (Act No. 25 of 2009, The Gazette of India, No. 27, published on 20 March 2009) as a new Central University, and is fully funded by the Government of India.
The Central Universities Bill 2009 aims at creating one new central university each in Bihar, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu. It also seeks to convert Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya in Chhattisgarh, Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya in Sagar (Madhya Pradesh) and Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University in Uttarakhand into Central universities.
