Jawaharlal Nehru University is also calls as JNU. Jawaharlal Nehru University was established in 1969 by the act of Indian parliament. The university is established by India’s 1st lady Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi. JNU is located in Southern New Delhi, India. University named as JNU after the name of first prime minister of India. This University is research based University, thus programmes offers by the University are research-oriented courses. Eligibility Criteria:
The candidates, who wanted admission in Ph. D programme, must have to obtain M. Tech., M. Phil, degree from any recognized university with 6.00 point out of 10.00 point scale. Where other than 10.00 point scale is obtained, the comparative rating is necessary for that candidate. For the admission in Study of Law & Governance legal experience is also eligible. For the foreign candidates it’s necessary to give the entrance examination of University which full fill the subject’s requirements as per the Indian students.
Seats reservation:
Several seats are reserved for the backwards categories which are as given below: 27% seats are reserved for OBC category candidates, 15% are reserved for SC, 7.5% are reserved for ST and 3% seats are reserved for physically handicapped candidates (If only when 40% disability is there).
