However, not all the students are fortunate enough to be a part of DU but some gets the chance to fulfill their dreams by getting admission into Delhi University.
Recently Delhi University awarded 139 medals to esteem students and 381 PhD degrees in its 88-convocation event held on Saturday. On the convocation Union minister telecom honorable Mr. Kapil Sibal urged the students to do hard work without neglecting the ethics and moral values.

Today education has become a selling business product and has overtaken moral values and ethics, sub standard level of education has generated excessive problems, with the time it will hollow our entire education system. Sarcastically, the objective of education is missing somewhere in the rush of attaining educational certificate or a degree for getting a good job with high income. Students are forgetting the basic moral values of education in the quest of competition, Kapil Sibal, added. He also said education is becoming business for many private institutions and the seats on those colleges are literally for sale under the name of Management Quota.  Recently we have witnessed fall of many large and proud international and national corporations, politicians, sportspersons, celebrities, and institutes due to their never-ending greed.
The graduates were seated in the conference room of the university from where they watched the live telecast of the presentation conducted in the Hall of Vice Regal Lodge. Rakhi Chandela of Maitreyi College who stood first in B.sc life science receives gold medal from the vice chancellor of the university.
