Doon University MA in EconomicsThe inspiration of Doon University describes its elements from massive deficit, which the state of the Uttarakhand is experiencing in region of distinction in the higher education. Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly with approved the Doon University 2005 Bill, (the Uttaranchal Adhiniyam Sankhaya-18 for 2005) concurred by Governor on the 23rd April, 2005. It was published on 26th April, 2006 in Uttarakhand Gazette. On May 9, 2009, its laws were accepted and University had started its primary academic session on the 6th August 2009. The fortitude of this Act is to make an independent and responsible institution for higher learning. Accordingly, the University plans to communicate economically and socially the relevant education. It also intends to offer lead in the border areas of the research and systems of pedagogy. Definitely, the consent is enormous and challenging.
Eligibility
M.A in Economics has 30 Seats. The minimum eligibility is Graduation with minimum 50 % (45 % for the SC/ST candidates) from any recognized University having Economics as one subject or the Graduation in any subject with minimum 60 % (55 % for the SC/ST candidates).

Rules
• University reserves all the right to hold back an academic program announced in the prospectus.
• Eligibility of candidates, who are suitable to appear in the qualifying examination, may apply for the admission and give the Entrance Examination on their own risk. The event of the selection they will be permitted to admission only in case, they have scored minimum required marks in the qualifying examination as well as they submits all the documents, plus the final mark-sheet for qualifying examination prior to fixed deadline for the Registration.
