Jiwaji University

Jiwaji University was established in the year 1964 under the provision of government ordinance. Currently, university has 29 colleges affiliated to this university which is now has increased to 100 college.  Today, 27 aided and unaided colleges teach PG level courses and also there are colleges that are recognized for research center.  Later in the 19667-67, university established school of studies in Botany and Zoology. And then year by year, university opened various research and study center in various streams.  University also has its own center of foreign language.

University conducting sports activity is being monitored by physical education department. It is the first university in India which implemented self supporting programs.  Currently, university offers almost all the job oriented and research courses.  University is being NAAC accredited.

Facilities Offered by Jiwaji University:

University offers good facilities for students which includes central library having more than 1, 40,000 books. Currently, there are 142 Indian and Foreign journals. This library is also equipped with internet connection.  Apart from it, university also provides sports complex, computer center, hostel, guest house, and hostel.
