Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) 

In the 1970s, when the JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University) was recognized, new perspectives on the old disciplines were taken to Indian university system. The teacher-student ratio was 1:10, with mode of instruction that encouraged the students to discover their own imagination instead of duplicating the received knowledge and the internal evaluation were new research on Indian academic scenery; these have placed test of the time. The Nehruvian objectives rooted in founding of this University like national integration, secularism, social justice, scientific approach for the society problems, and international understanding had built addicted to it steady and energetic Endeavour for renewing the knowledge via self-questioning.
