Kurukshetra University Admission 

As a unitary residential university, Kurukshetra University was established in the year, 1956. The first president of India late Dr. Rajendra Prasad laid the foundation stone for the university on 11 January 1957.  Kurukshetra University is located where the epic battle ‘Mahabharata’ was fought in the city of Kurukshetra.  On the western bank of Brahm Sarover the campus is situated and covers an area of about 400 acres of land. Only with one department of Sanskrit, the foundation laid and today it has multiple disciplines under one roof. Kurukshetra University is among premier center for advanced study and research in the region.

Today, Kurukshetra University offers excellent education to students of the country as well as to the students of overseas. It provides outstanding learning experience, enrich intellectual abilities, and develop moral, social and ethical values among students.  University is supporting its students with excellent skills, attitudes, insights, practical training and experience that will facilitate them to become sensitive citizens of the country.
