
About the Institute
The IIM Kozhikode was the fifth IIM Institute in India to be established in 1996 by the Government of India in cooperation with the Government of India. The IIM Kozhikode like any other IIM is a complete management school with activities ranging from infrastructure development to training, teaching and conducting research. The IIM focuses on the development of various skills of the individual while creating a balance between cross cultural issues and business demands. The IIM Kozhikode is indeed a unique one of its kind in the field of management studies.

Eligibility
Applicants for the above mentioned courses need to have a three years bachelor’s degree (with a minimum of 50% marks for Open Category and 45% for ST/SC, etc) from any well recognized university. Students appearing for their final exams can also apply for the course provided they submit a copy of their degree at the time of admission is offered. Candidates need to appear for the CAT examination as these scores are required to shortlist the candidates.
Application Process
Candidates become automatically eligible for the courses at IIM Kozhikode upon applying for the CAT. Students can apply for the CAT by paying Rs.1100 /- (Rs. 550 for SC/ST candidates) at any of the UTI Bank branches and obtaining an application form. Based upon their CAT scores successful candidates are called upon for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Final selection of candidates is done based upon CAT scores, GD, personal interview and work experience. Successful candidates are then offered admission. The fees for the course are four lakh rupees. SC ST, etc candidates need to submit their SC/ST certificates at the time of admission.
