About the Institute

Xavier Institute of Management was established in 1987 and is currently being headed by the officials of Govt. of Orissa, Govt. of India and Orissa Jesuit Society. Xavier Institute of Management is currently amongst the top ten Business Schools in India. Xavier Institute of Management aims at developing committed and competent individuals through management education. The XIBM has many awards and accreditation like the SAQS accreditation given by AMDISA.

All programs offered by the XIBM are based upon the normal business management education followed all over the world.

XIBM currently offers the following certificate and diploma programs at its Bhubaneswar campus:
EPWP (1 yr)
PGPMI (1 yr)
PGCBM (1 yr)
Fellow Program Management
Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)

Eligibility
A three years bachelor’s degree or a post graduate degree from any well recognized university is the minimum requirement for admission to any program offered by XIBM. Students appearing for their final exams can also apply for the course under provisional eligibility. Provisional eligibility will be valid till 15th June 2010 before which they have to obtain their degree.

Application Process
All candidates need to apply online on XIBM’s website and send the payment advice (received after completing application online) and application fee of Rs. 1000/- to the administration office of XIBM. Payment can be made in the form of a demand draft or Bank remittance at any SBI branch to Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar’s current account 30834687536. All payments made are non refundable.

Admissions to the aforesaid programs are done through the XAT admission test which is held in mid of January. Cut off marks are decided by the institute for various sections and candidates are shortlisted. Short listed candidates are called upon for a Group discussion and a Personal Interview. Selected candidates are informed by mail in the first week of April. Courses start from June 2010.
