Jadavpur University MPhil Admission
In 1906 The Jadavpur State University was established by the National Council of Education and it was converted to a University under the First Jadavpur University Act in 1955. It is situated in Kolkata, West Bengal, India and the university has 2 campuses, the main campus is at jadavpur, it covers fifty eight acres of area and second new campus is at salt lake. The university is five star universities and recognized by NAAC.Jadavpur University is one of the top most institutions in the country.The University invite all candidate who eligible and want to take admission in m Phil course.
Eligibility for MPhil admission:
Candidate must be complete post graduation from any stream or BE in any engineering discipline at least with 55 % marks or40 per cent marks for SC, ST candidate and all candidate must have 50 per cent marks in mathematics at 12th level.
Selection Procedure:
The Jadavpur University conducts entrance examination for MPhil admission after examination. The candidates are selected on performance in the entrance examination.
Facilities:
The universityprovides several facilities for its students that include individual hostel for girls and boys, health Centre, canteens, employment information bureau, office of placement and training, students' amenity Centre, centralized computer Centre, auditoriums or lecture theatres, indoor stadium, gymnasium. The university library is one of the full field libraries in the country.
General information:
The university provides M Phil in following courses English, Public Admn, Education, Women Studies, Urduand Hindi. The university provides fellowship of INR 3000 / 5000 per month to the MPhil student respectively as per University Grants Commission norms.
