IGNOU Courses Admission 

In 1985 under the act of parliament, IGNOU (Indira Gandhi Open University) was established. Today, IGNOU has a vast network of fifty-nine regional centers, twenty three hundred study centers and around forty-one out of the country center.  Today, around 2 million students are taking education under this university not only in the country but also out of the country. The standard of IGNOU is good and they are continuous improving their standard matching the world norms.

In addition to teaching and research, extension and training for students in its academic activities it also  act as a center for promoting and maintaining the standard of distance education in the country.  The role IGNOU played in developing the distance education in the country the Commonwealth of learning has awarded IGNOU with “Center of Excellence”. It also has the privilege of hosting SACODIL (Secretariats of SAARC Consortium of Open Distance Learning).

Latest, IGNOU came up with two new programs for BA students. Now BA students can do the course in Urdu or in Arabic. The only criterion for BA aspirants is he must have one of its subjects in Urdu at 10+2 level.

In order to attain the vision and enabling people of all parts of the country right of education university has imparts education with all flexible means in open or distance education mode. It provides higher education and training to major section of population particularly who cannot attain regular classes. It also encourages national integration and development of individual personality. Fill the gap between Open University and motivate them to maintain standard of higher education.

In January 2009, IGNOU offers 175 academic programs only to push individual with disadvantage and helping in building them a strong personality. Education is so much important for growth and prosperity in corporate culture. IGNOU offers awareness, Certificate, degree, diploma, doctorate, masters, and bachelor degree to the students through multiple instructional packages under different methodologies and technologies.
