JNU UGC-CSIR Junior Research Fellowship
In 1969 Jawaharlal Nehru University is formed by the act of Indian parliament. JNU was situated in southern part of New Delhi, India. The university was established by Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi. The JNU campus is a microcosm of the Indian Nation and has a Different picturesque view inside the campus which makes a scenic view. In several location of university have various birds and animals which make the campus an urban sanctuary. They provide free coaching facility to the student. The university campus covers 1000 acres area. JNU provide different financial aid programs like UGC CSIR junior research fellowship, Merit cum means scholarship, Ford foundation scholarship, UGC scholarship and fellowship, state government fellowships. The main objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the poor and meritorious student belonging to the minority communities. This scholarship is given by the state government of India.

Eligibility for JNU CSIR junior research fellowship:
Candidate must complete post graduation with good academic records and should complete degree from recognized university. In this fellowship only those candidate will be eligible who qualify the national level test conducted by the UGC.

General Information:
 This scholarship is given by the state government of India. The junior research fellowship gives each student 16 to 22 thousand rupees plus house rent per month. Application forms are available online if you use online registration facility those students submit application online and send demand draft and photocopies of certificate by post or get the application form from the admission office. The ST, SC candidate have concession for the application form. Incomplete application forms are rejected. Candidate who qualified for junior research fellowship, CSIR and UGC those students not required to give entrance test. The application forms are available in December and submit the application form before January month.
