Kurukshetra University Admission 

Kurukshetra University is located in the spiritual land of Bhagwadgita, Kurukshetra. This is one of the pioneer and leading educational institute of the nation and covers over 400 acres of land situated on the bank of the river Brahmsarovar. Our honorable first president of the nation Dr. Rajendra Prasad laid the foundation stone on 11 January 1957. Since then university always focuses on excellence in teaching and research in technology, Social Science, Science, Arts and sports.  

Today the university is offering excellent education not only to students of our nation but also to students of other countries. University is keen to develop among students intellectual abilities and social, moral, ethical values. University is furnishing the students with high-class skills, attitudes, practical knowledge which enables them to become sensitive resident.

       

Under the jurisdiction, university has 457 affiliated colleges from the surroundings, which includes institutes from Panipat, Yamuna Nagar, Fatehabad, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Ambala, Kaithal, Hisar, Jind, Sirsa and Panchkula. Today, university has 445 faculty members who are engaged in teaching and research work in various departments. In the year, 2003 university has started MBA programme to meet the increasing demand of well-trained professional.

 University campus is famous among the masses for its scenery and greenery outfields and it is one of the most beautiful campuses in the country. Within the campus university constructed seminar rooms, accommodation facility for students and faculty members, shopping complex, sports ground, libraries and laboratories, cafeterias, canteens and many more. There are numerous green gardens, water fountains, which creates perfect atmosphere for leisure and research.

NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) an educational body of UGC has provided the university ‘A’ Grade certificate. The members of NAAC evaluates university performance on the basis of curriculum, innovative teaching practices, infrastructure and learning resources, students progression and support, leadership and governance and many more.
