XLRI XAT Notification Xavier Admission Test Date Form Eligibility


Xavier Admission Test (XAT) (Conducted by XLRI)

Xavier Admission Test (XAT) is the annual entrance examination organized by the XLRI School of Business and Human Resources to give admissions in the Post-Graduate Management courses of XLRI, Jamshedpur as well as 60 additional management institutes. As a result, each year lots of management candidates apply for the XAT to find admission in the XLRI or any other good institutes. 

Popularity of this exam 
The XLRI XAT exam is measured as amongst the toughest exams which candidates need to facade for their forthcoming future. This exam is amongst the best choices of students to find admissions in the XLRI Business School. 

Availability of forms 
XAT bulletin is likely to be accessible in the 1st week of the month of September with elected Axis Bank branches through cash payment. After that candidates need to log in to the XAT website and select the option ‘Paid at the Axis Bank mode of payment’ for filling online form. Then candidates need to download PP form and send it to the XAT Office. Candidates may also get XAT bulletin through sending a demand draft with first registering via XAT website by selecting the ‘Demand Draft option’. 

Eligibility criteria
The candidate need to have either completed his/her graduation or must be in final year of the graduation to get the provisional admission.

Executive PG Program 3 years part time (for working executives)
General Management Program 1 year full time (for working executives)
Master of Business Administration 2 years
Personal Management and Industrial Relations Program 2 years full time
Examination Pattern
XAT exam is having 140 minutes of time with 200 objective questions and one essay of about 250-300 words. Objective questions can be asked from following sections:

English 80 questions
General Awareness 60 questions
Quantitative Ability and Reasoning 60 questions

All 3 sections are given 40 minutes each. For each correct answer the candidates will get 1 mark but 1/3 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. In the last 20 minutes, the candidates have to write a 250-300 words essay on any given topic.
