How to take the Test: Computer Based Test (CBT)
COMPUTER BASED TEST :
Test Date: 18th September 2011 (Sunday) onwards
Test Timing : In different Time slots at specific test venues; subject to number of candidates registering for Computer Based Test.
Test Centre City :
• Test Centre City list is provided in the Registration Form.
• Computer Based Test will take place from 18th September 2011 onwards in different time slots.
• One candidate can appear only for one domain.
Admit Card :
• All provisionally registered candidates can down load their Admit Card from AIMA websitelink: www.aima-ind.org/ 15 days before the Computer Based test date i.e., with effect from 05th September 2011 (Monday).
• Admit Card would be having Candidate Name,Photograph, Registration No, Test Date, Test Time and Test Venue Address. Candidate has to strictly follow the date and time allotted to them.
• Candidates accessing the website the earliest can choose the Date and Time of his/her choice subject to availability. Those who have not opted the date and time slot for 4-5 days will be automatically allotted date and time slot by the system. No request for change of date and time slot can be entertained.
About MAT Exam (conducted by AIMA)
Introduction
MAT is simply stand for Management Aptitude Test. It is an entrance exam design for the management students who wish to mark their career in the corporate world. Management Aptitude Test is organized by the center of management which is a specialized division of All India Management Association (AIMA).
MAT is usually conducted for admission in various Management programs to enlist the management students name in the reputed colleges across the country. MAT – the entrance exam is usually held four times in a year i.e. in the months of February, May, September & December.
The management institutes help students get admissions in various management programmes such as Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in Insurance Management, HR, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and International Business, Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology & Management (PGDITM) in IT Marketing, E-Commerce, Information Systems Management etc.
MAT Score Validation: Once year
Pattern of Examination & syllabus
MAT Entrance exam has 200 multiple choice questions. Each question is of 1 mark & there is negative marking for wrong answer. Time limit to solve this problem is 2hrs
The questions are based on following topics:
General Awareness,
Data Awareness,
Reading comprehension,
Quantitative Aptitude
Logical and Critical Reasoning.
Eligibility: The candidate should posses a Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year of degree course students can also apply.
