Thapar University Admission 

On 8 October 1956, Thapar University was established. It was an engineering college and named Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. However, it got the status of university in the year 1985 under the UGC act. Today Thapar University offers PG and UG programs in Management, Engineering, Social Sciences and Science. Thapar University creates an atmosphere, which encourage students to be innovative, creative, scholarly inquiry, research, and achieving academic excellence.
