Banaras Hindu University MD (Ay)/MS (Ay) AdmissionBanaras Hindu University is founded in holy city of Varanasi. In 1915 the university is made by the act of parliamentary legislation. BanarasUniversity is internationally prestigious temple of learning. In Asia this is the biggest university and provides higher quality education. In 1916 the university is founded by Pandit Madan Mohan malviya. BHU is producing many freedom fighter and builders of modern India. The university is affiliated by University Grant Commission. The main objective of University is to promote the study of the Hindu shastras and Sanskrit literature.
Eligibility for MD (Ay)/MS (Ay) Admission:
Candidate who completes BAMS or equivalent degree recognized by central council of Indian Medicine and BHU are eligible. MBBSdegreerecognized by medical council of India. All candidate must qualified with Sanskrit as one of the subject as a part of BAMS examination recognized by BHU. Candidate must complete twelve month internship. The maximum age limit is 35 years for general category andfive years relaxation for ST, SC candidate.
Admission procedure:
The candidate can get application form from their official website or get application form from office of the director BHU. Fill the application form with required document and submit the form fees by Demand draft in the favour of office of the director payable at Varanasi. Submit the application form in between February to April.
Selection Procedure:
Selection of candidate is done on the basis of merit in written examination. Separate merit list will be prepared for General, ST, SC and OBC students.
General Information:
The entrance examination is conducted in the campus of Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. The examination contain 180 multiple choice question and duration of examination is 2.30 Hours.
