Delhi University is the public type of University and in under control of Indian Government. The University is formed by the Government of India in 1922. The aim behind the formation of this University is to provide the high quality higher education for the students who belong from Delhi territory. “Dedicated to Truth” is the motto of the University. Delhi University has the two campuses calls as the North campus and South campus. Both campuses are well developed and equipped with the world class facilities. University provides various courses for the graduation and post graduation. This all courses have the affliction of UGC.

University also offers M. Sc course. This is post graduation programme, the time period of the programme is two years. The detail information about the admission of M. Sc is given below.

Eligibility criteria for M. Sc.:

For the admission in the M. Sc. programme candidate must have to complete his graduation in the science faculty. The minimum aggregated marks require for the admission is 50%. 

Admission Procedure:

The admission for the M. Sc. programme is carried by the Delhi University entrance examination for the M. Sc. Each faculty has the different entrance examination. The forms for the applications are available in the admission office of the University. Candidate also can download the form from the website of the Delhi University. For each faculty, examination day is also different. Only 50% seats are filled by the entrance examination, rests of the seats are filled with the marks obtained by the candidates in the B. Sc. examination.
