Combined Aptitude Test for English (CATE)
This year 21 colleges will admit students to BA (Honours) English through CATE this year.
Application Forms will be available to these 21 colleges till May 26. CATE will be conducted on June 5, 2011

The OMR (Optical Mark Reader) Application Form along with the Information Bulletin will be available at all institutions designated above for the same and receipt of forms between 16th and 26th May, 2011 on payment of Rs.300/- through a bank draft drawn in favour of The Registrar, University of Delhi, drawn on any branch of the following banks :

ICICI Bank
HDFC Bank
Please note that drafts from any of the subsidiary State Banks ( for example, State Bank of Patiala, State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Travancore etc. will not be accepted. The drafts should be payable at Delhi.
About Delhi University
The University of Delhi is a central university situated in Delhi, India and is funded by Government of India. Established in 1922, it offers courses at the undergraduate and post-graduate level. Vice-President of India Mohammad Hamid Ansari is the Chancellor of the university. It has been ranked 371 in the whole world in the year 2010 by the THES - QS world universities ranking. The university has two campuses, namely north campus and south campus in the northern and southern part of the city respectively. The north campus is well connected with the yellow line of the Delhi Metro. The station is called Vishwavidyalaya, which means "university" in Hindi and Sanskrit. North campus is about 2.5 km from Delhi Vidhan Sabha and 7.0 km from ISBT.
