Amity University MBA Course Admission Procedure


AMITY UNIVERSITY MBA ADMISSION

Established under the Uttar Pradesh state government act, Amity University is a private university in Noida near Delhi in India. It has a capacity of five thousand students and offers various programs at the undergraduate and post graduate levels. Amity University offers MBA courses at its Gwalior Campus, Gurgaon Campus, Jaipur Campus, Lucknow and Noida Campus. MBA and MBA in Marketing and Sales are offered at the Gwalior Campus. Other campuses offer MBA in Human Resource Management, Agri Business, International Business, Family Business, Pharmaceutical Marketing, Rural Health Management, Hospitality management, Education Management, Retail Management. The Noida Campus offers extra MBA courses in Telecom Management, Agriculture and Food business, Insurance and Banking, Insurance Management, Fashion Management, hospitality Management, Media Management, Biotechnology management, urban infrastructure and Real Estate Management, Rural Management, Natural resource Management, Competitive Intelligence and Corporate Warfare, Entrepreneurship and 3 Continent Management. The minimum eligibility criterion is a graduation degree in any stream with a minimum score of fifty percent aggregate. Admission to the above mentioned MBA courses are conducted through the CAT, MAT and GMAT examinations. Every year cutoff scores are put up for each of these competitive examinations. Generally the cutoff score for GMAT is five hundred, MAT is five hundred and CAT is seventy five. Specialized MBA curses like MBA Telecom Management require a BE or BTech or MSC or BCA or MCA in Electrical or IT or Instrumentation, or Aerospace fields. Application forms for the above mentioned MBA courses are available at the respective campus for a nominal charge of one thousand one hundred rupees (Rs. 1100/-). Applications are scrutinized and the selected candidates are summoned for a written test which is followed by a group discussion and a personal interview. Candidates who pass the interview are offered admission to MBA courses at Amity University.
