Presidency College Kolkata MA Admission

Presidency College is one of the oldest collages in Kolkata. This collage was formerly known as the Hindu collage. Hindu collage was established somewhere around the year 1817 with very little number of students. At present it has around 14.5 acres of campus area which is located at the Kolkata, West Bengal. Presidency College is known as the one of the best science collage in the Kolkata. Collage also has A+ grading from the NAAC. It also has very good infrastructure with different building for the different purposes like for the Laboratory, Library, Canteen, Gymkhana etc.
Presidency College offers various courses under different faculties. Collage also offers MA programme under full time education mode.

Eligibility for the MA Admission:
The candidates who are seeking the admission for Education in Master of Arts are required to be a degree holder in respective subjects of MA. This university carries out an entrance examination for the MA course. For the eligibility in the examination candidates need to pass the Bachelor’s degree with minimum marks criteria.

Admission Procedure:
The candidates who pass this entrance examination are eligible for the next step of the admission i.e. Personal Interview. The interview is take by the expert professors, who are related to the arts field.  After clearing all this stages of admission the merit list is formed and eligible students get the admission in the collage. This admission procedure is carried out centrally by the University.

The students who are having the Master of Arts degree can apply for the job in news channels, news papers; radio news stations, advertising agencies, arts subject related schools and can also try in Universities.
