DUMET Notification Entrance Exam Delhi University MBBS BDS Admission


Delhi University Medical-Dental Entrance Test (DUMET)

Delhi University Medical-dental Entrance Test (DUMET) is organized every year to get admissions to the under-graduate courses like MBBS and BDS. Interested candidates can apply in the prearranged application form. The application form together with the bulletin information is available from office of deputy registrar, the faculty of medical sciences, at 7th Floor, at VP Chest Institute Building, at University of Delhi, Delhi-110007, by paying bank draft or banker’s cheque from any nationalized bank, favoring to the registrar, at University of Delhi to be paid at Delhi. 

The bulletin information can be received by hand by paying Rs 750/- for the General and OBC candidates as well as Rs 550/- for the SC/ST/PH candidates. No cash payment is accepted. To get it by post, the General and OBC candidates need to pay Rs 800/- and Rs 600/- for the SC/ST/PH candidates, together with one self-addressed envelop. SC/ST/PH applicants are requested to carry/send the copy of the caste certificate or PH certificate to obtain the bulletin of information.

The application form together with the brochure of information may also be attained through hand only from University College of Medical Sciences, Maulana Azad Medical College, and Lady Hardinge Medical College. 

Educational Qualifications

The candidates have to pass the 12th standard examination under the 10+2 system having requisite subjects like Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and English from any recognized school organizing usual classes, and located within national capital of Delhi. The candidates have to pass in subjects like Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and English independently and have to get minimum 50% (40% for the candidates for the SC/ST category as well as 45% fro OBC category) altogether in PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology). Candidates need to have studied 11th-12th classes recurrently from any recognized school located within national capital of Delhi. Physically Handicapped applicants having lower limbs disability from 50-70% are qualified and can apply as per guidelines of Medical Council of India
