DU PGMET Entrance Exam Dates Application Form Counseling Schedule


Delhi University Post-Graduate Medical Entrance Test (PGMET)

Delhi University Post-Graduate Medical Entrance Test (PGMET) is organized every year to give admissions to following courses. Interested candidates can apply on prescribed form.

Post-Graduate Courses (Degree):

M.D. in:
Anesthesiology, Biochemistry, Anatomy, Dermatology, Community Medicine, Venereology & Leprosy, General Medicine, Forensic Medicine, Microbiology, Community Health Administration, Pathology, Pediatrics, Physiology, Pharmacology, Radiotherapy, Psychiatry, Radio-Diagnosis, and Pulmonary Medicine. 

M.S. in:
General Surgery, Gynecology, Obstetrics, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, and Orthopedics

Post-Graduate Courses (Diploma):

Anesthesiology (DA), Venereology & Leprosy (DDVl), Dermatology, Obstetrics & Gynecology (DGO), Otorhinolaryngology (DLO), Ophthalmology (DO), Radio diagnosis (DMRD), Pediatrics (DCH), Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases (DTCD), Radiation Medicine (DRM), Health Education (DHE) and Health Administration (DHA) 

The selection of the candidates of Delhi University proportion seats of above courses is be made by Delhi University from Medical Graduates (MBBS) of University of Delhi only. Seats for All India Quota in the MD (Community Health Administration) as well as DHE (Diploma in Health Education) will be filled by Delhi University on the All India basis.

Delhi University PGMET Application Form with the Bulletin of Information can be obtained from office at following address, by paying the necessary amount in crossed Bank Draft or a Banker’s Cheque of any Nationalized Bank, favoring to the Registrar, at University of Delhi, to be paid at Delhi in following manner:

Bulletin of Information can be received by hand by paying Rs. 1,500/- for the General as well as OBC Category students and Rs.1, 000/- for the SC/ST/PH candidates, however, no cash payment is accepted. To get it by post, General/OBC candidates need to pay Rs. 1,550/- Rs. 1,050/- for the SC/ST/PH candidates, together with one self addressed envelope, having size of 10″ X 8″. The candidate needs to state his/her name as well as address at back of Bank Draft or Banker’s Cheque. The candidates should also retain photocopy of Bank Draft or Banker’s Cheque.
