Delhi University, which is known as University of Delhi now, is one of the oldest and noblest universities in India. The university received 371th from all the university located across the globe. The university was established in 1922 as a teaching and residential university by one special act of central legislative assembly. It offers various self financing as well government aided courses at both post graduate and graduate level. The Delhi University is currently having two campuses based in different parts of Delhi.

Eligibility criteria for the admission
A candidate must be 12th passed from 10+2 education system from any recognized university. Candidates are also required to have passed 12th with 45% marks or more. Relaxation in marks up to 5 to 10% is given to SC/ST categories at the time of admission. Other categories of students like physically handicapped, students from Nepal pr Bhutan, blind, widows of armed forces are also eligible for getting this relaxation in minimum percentage.
All the dates related to the admission process are pre-displayed on web site of University of Delhi and can be viewed at any time. Somewhere in the month of June, admission process starts with the sale of admission forms. Three months are given to submit the application forms after which, no forms are accepted.
