About the Institute
The Xavier Labour Reseaerch Institute is amongst India’s oldest management schools, established in 1949. Eligibility
Applicants for the foresaid courses need to have a bachelor’s degree from any well recognized university. Students appearing for their final exams can also apply for the course. In addition candidates also need to appear XLRI’s XAT examination which is the screening examination for further testing of candidature.

Application Process
Applicants need to apply for the XAT first and then have to register with XLRI. Applicants can obtain the information brochure from selected Axis Bank branches. The information brochure costs Rs. nine hundred (six hundred for SC/ST) for a single program and Rs one thousand five hundred (one thousand one hundred for SC/ST) for multiple courses (at the max 3). In order to apply for the XAT candidates need to login to www.xlri.edu. Upon completion of the application form the applicant receives a userid and a password which will be needed to complete the registration in XLRI. Students also need to send copies of their tenth , twelfth and graduation certificates along with the application form to XLRI’s admission office. Based upon the XAT scores candidates are short listed for group discussions and Personal Interview. A list of candidates who are successful in the group discussion and personal interview is put up on the XLRI’s website. Separate intimation is also provided successful candidates.
