Bundelkhand University is a government university and managed by them only. It is located in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is founded in the year 1975 for professional, technical, and vocational study courses. The history of the university is not that old however, the university have came a long distance is so short span of time. Today, Bundelkhand University offering youth of the state to purse higher education, professional training and providing conducive research facility depending on the their ability and caliber.    
  

Bundelkhand University is regularly working to improve its central library and departmental libraries in terms of good reading textbooks, reference literature, magazines and research journals and periodicals, for various disciplines of PG, UG and doctorate level courses offered by the university and by the affiliated colleges. Bundelkhand University has recently taken a separate leased line of 2 MBPS band width absolutely for central library to enable readers to access of 4000 e- journals.  Automation of central library is on the prime list of the university. Many minds are working together to enrich libraries of various departments and institutes of the campus.  In addition, administrative body of the university is all set to link central library with departmental libraries so that faculty members and students can have better access to e-literature.

Since the inception of the university, it has many professional programmes, which are completely based on computers such as M.sc (IT), B.Tech, BCA, Instrumental, and MCA, which needs well equipped computer center. Within the university premises, these are two shopping complexes one each for academic and residential respectively. Currently university has two girls hostel with a capacity of 150 and 300 inmates. University provides residential facility to its faculty members and research scholars. All rooms of the hostels are having well equipped security system, food facilities, Regular power and water supply, TV on common room and supply of cold and hot water.
