Delhi University Distance Learning BA Admission

The University of Delhi or simply DU is one of the oldest universities in India, established back in 1922. It offers various courses at post graduate as well as at graduate level. The university has two campuses, one in north part of Delhi and another in southern part of Delhi. Both the campuses can be reached easily from various parts of Delhi using public transports. The University has been ranked 371 from all the universities in the world by THES - QS world universities ranking in 2010.

The admission process for distance education BA course starts somewhere around in the month of June. The information brochure along with admission form can be purchased at the University of Delhi campus. The forms can be purchased at the following address - Open Learning (North Campus), University of Delhi, Delhi & its South Study Centre, Old Moti Lal Nehru College, Building South Moti Bagh, Nanak Pura, New Delhi. The prospectus for the course is made available in the, month of May prior to the actual admission process. All the dates related to the admission are declared well before time to avoid any inconvenience.

Candidates willing to opt for this course must meet the eligibility criteria set by the university. The candidates must have passed 12th standard examination. While taking admission in some colleges, minimum 40% marks are required in 12th; in some colleges no such condition is placed. The duration of the course is three years.  All the information related to the admission process, is displayed on the web page of the university as well as can be found on the notice board in university. 

No entrance exam is conducted for the admission in this course except for BA with English course. Hence admission can be taken directly after filling all the necessary forms for BA with all other subjects except English.
