St. Ann’s degree college was established in 1983 by the sister society of St. Ann. The main vision of the college is academic excellence skill enhancement and value enrichment.  The college has about 3000 student and around 100 staff member. St. Ann’s degree college has total 28 departments. College is ranked at number 27 all over India. In 1981 St. Ann’s Junior college was started, after 1983 they started degree colleges also. St. Ann’s degree college offers various Diploma, graduate, and post graduate courses. College is accredited with “A” grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council.

St. Ann’s degree college offers B. Com course in regular, vocational or with computer subject. In arts field, the college offers following subjects, political science, economic, psychology, literature, history, and public administration. In B.Sc. field the college offers various subjects like botany, chemistry, zoology, applied nutrition, genetics, microbiology and biotechnology. For post-graduation the college offers courses in foreign language, tax practice, mass communication, personality development and managerial skill, MBA, MCA, these courses are approved by AICTE. St. Ann’s degree college also offers diploma courses in Soft Toys, MS- Office and Web Designing, Ceramics & Glass painting, Batik & Tie and dye, Bible Foundation Course, Cartooning & Calligraphy, Mass Communication, Oil painting, Fabric Painting, Embroidery, Flower Arrangement, Handicrafts, Personality Development, Cosmetology, and Cookery etc.

St. Ann’s degree college gives admission to the students who have completed 12th examination from recognized university. Students must complete graduation from Osmania University or from any recognized university and students having qualified for ICET examination are eligible for admission. For post-graduation level candidate must give entrance examination which is conducted by Osmania University. The college provides facilities like seminar hall, auditorium, fully equipped labs, well stocked library, well ventilated class rooms etc. The college also provides placement to the student.
