Wherever required, importance will be laid on the geo-morphological, social, ecological, cultural aspects of the mountain ecosystem.

The M.Sc. Program intends of preparing students like trained Environment & Natural Resource scientists, managers, community workers, and policy planners via extensive field related case studies depending on solving the real life problems via courses in chemical, biological, social sciences, bioinformatics, economics, GIS, and remote sensing. It is compulsory for all students to take on one month obligatory Course on the Internship/Field study with one of the stakeholders. Curriculum is made through the brainstorming workshop listen by the researchers and eminent academics from India to address the current natural and environmental resources issues or problems.

Eligibility

M.A is the Integrated Five Years course in Chinese, German, and Spanish Languages. The eligibility is 10+2 in whichever subject from any recognized Education Board, having 50 % (45 % for the SC/ST candidates). Lateral entry departs after three years can be permitted but in that case, the Bachelors degree will be given.

Doon University M.A Communication

Doon University was established by government of Uttarakhand in the year 2005 with its Act No-18 (2005) and accepted by the UGC under the 12(B) as state government university. It is a completely residential university. The vision of this University is to turn into a centre of excellence with selected areas of studies. The medium of the instruction in this university is English. Every year, applications are requested from the eligible students for admission in following courses being offered by various schools of the Doon University. M.A. in Communication has 40 seats available. The Integrated 5- year program in M.A. Communication has 60 seats. 

Eligibility

The candidates need to have Graduation having any subject from any recognized university having minimum 50 % marks (45 % for the SC/ST categories according to the state government rules.
