Delhi University BA (Hons) Journalism was commenced in the year 1989. Initially, this course was started by the Delhi College of Arts and Commerce and currently there are 5 colleges that come under DU that offers BA (Hons) in Journalism course. The main aim behind providing this course is to make students aware about real society and bring out the best from them journalism. There are five colleges which offer BA (Hons) Journalism. These are Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, Kamla Nehru College, Maharaja Agrasen College, Kalindi College and Lady Shri Ram College.
Students who need to apply for this course need to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the university and according to the merit list admission are being done. The schedule of journalism entrance exam C-JET is provided on website of DU or respected college.
Eligibility for BA (Hons) Journalism:
• Student need to be 10+2 pass out from recognized state board in Delhi with at least 60% marks in English and 70% aggregate.
• Student need to appear for the C-JET entrance exam conducted by university along with PI

The application form for the course can be downloaded and submitted through online. Student needs to get registered to the given website and filled form can either be submitted through Axis Bank or online. The payment of application fee can be done online which is about Rs 700/- for General and Rs 300/- for physical handicapped. The form can also be submitted to five given colleges in Delhi.
